Net Operations (NetOps):
All operations, and any OJC function/action taking place on the Internet will be coordinated through NetOps. Exclusions to this will be specific requests made directly by Gunny Fallon and/or Steve Golding.Team/Coordinator Responsibilities:
Adoption: This applies to both adoption teams: Supply incident report of POW/MIA for person wishing to adopt. Always attempt to match state of requester, if appropriate. Coordinate with Ring Team to ensure adoption of all missing personnel by individuals adopting on-line with the expectation of having each missing hero in the ring. Match additional criteria if requested where possible.Example: Person wants a medic from Ohio, or a Marine from Mississippi.
Members should submit monthly totals to team leader(s). Team leaders should forward totals to Gunny and NetOps. Personal Adoptions will handle adoptions by individuals. Group adoptions will handle adoptions by groups of individuals. Both teams will assist each other upon request.

Domain
1. Maintain all OJC pages and files located on the domain server.2. Perform scheduled backups to local hard drive(s) in addition to any performed by the host server staff.
3. Ensure security and access restrictions.

GraphicsCoordinator:*
Respond to request(s) for specific graphics needed. When appropriate, will notify members through available channels of said request. HTML *
Assist staff and members with solutions to HTML problems or questions.Respond to communications/requests from NetOps. Submit information; offer assistance as needed.
Personnel {Volunteers}: *
1. Ascertain needs for additional personnel.2. Encourage teams to establish an instructor to help assimilate new members into the team and teach these new members what is needed to get them working.
3. Maintain up to date rosters for all teams. ((secure information))
4. Determine appropriate placement where turnover may easily occur. That will allow OJC to bring people into the teams in a 'start up' position that will may change when we have better determined a proper mix between their skills/area of interest and then-current positions available. This also allows a 'getting acquainted' period to both help establish this mix, and give us time to ensure they understand the importance of appropriate courtesy when dealing with members and/or potential members.
5. Establish a pool of volunteers willing to work on specific tasks outside the normal team structure. These individuals would respond to requests from Gunny, members of the Executive Board, or director(s) of Net Operations.
6. Ensure that teams realize they can add anyone they want to their teams; Personnel just needs to know about it to maintain accurate team lists. They are here to augment team progress, not hinder it.
7. Serve as a support unit to all teams in the area of team membership.
8. Participate, in conjunction with Directors of Net Operations, The Executive Board, the Newsletter Team and/or individual teams; in the development/deployment of advertising campaigns and email requests that relate to requests for volunteers.

International *
1. The mission statement {page2.html} will be posted in all languages which we can support with translators.2. The team will be responsible to answer questions when received in non-English languages when possible.
3. Direct people to adopt and present a page in either English and/or their native language.
4. Assist, as needed, in building a site. There may be a need to call upon the help of other teams/members in building a page.
5. Help individuals with submitting the information to the adoption team in English and then translating it to their language for them.
6. Help individuals with submitting the information to the Ring and help with translations.

Mailroom:

Newsletter:
Managing Editor(s)
1. Deliver an on-line newsletter in a timely manner.2. Develop repetitive articles with on-going themes as well as any scheduled elements.
3. Post information submitted by teams and management.
4. Maintain an archive of prior issues. Assist in determination of whether or not material of a 'how-to' nature should be placed in Help database(s) and/or pages.
5. Assist in exposure of OJC promotions.

Staff writers / researchers: *
Research areas of interest, submit articles, respond to requests by

Research:
Research specific questions respective to the POW/MIA issue and the history of it as well as any pending legislation. Determine sites that give presentation and documentation in support of the allegations made by OJC. Technical Support: *
Support in navigating the OJC pages and navigating the POW/MIA issue.Respond to communications/requests from NetOps. Submit information; offer assistance as needed.
Ring
Staff:
1. Maintain the ring to standards set by OJC.2. Add new members to the ring. Assist individuals to acquire proper HTML code [hereafter referred to as code] by ensuring they receive code they can use regardless of their expertise or hosting server. Inspect site and code for correctness and appropriateness. Perform Site Check duties when necessary.
3. Remove site from the ring [back to the queue] when necessary. Email member of removal with reason for same. Add member back into ring when problem(s) resolved. Email member of addition when problem(s) resolved.
4. Placement of code on appropriate page(s); see item 6 below.
Site Check: *
5. Maintain the ring to standards set by OJC by actual site inspection. Email member directly regarding updates of current OJC links. Email member directly regarding cosmetic errors in code and follow-up to ensure corrections have been made. Contact Ring staff [high-priority Email] of errors in member code that prevents the ring from functioning properly. Contact Ring Team if URL, Name, and/or email address in code does not match data at ojc.org. Contact Ring staff immediately high-priority email] upon discovery of objectionable material to include: adult themes, nudity, pornography, profanity, defamation, and/or slanderous material.NOTICE:Use of such material will result in the site's immediate removal to the ring queue. Objectionable material will be removed or site will not be added back into the ring. If questions arise concerning such material, the decision will rest with the director(s) of Net Operations and/or any member of the Executive Board.
6. Placement of ring code on appropriate page(s).
A. The code should be on a page with the POW/MIA's incident report -OR- a page leading directly to multiple pages of incident reports.Respond to communications/requests from NetOps. Promotions:
Yellow Ribbon Campaign *
Assist in maintaining a page describing the Yellow Ribbon Campaign and current and upcoming events. Inform appropriate resources of upcoming events to promote the Yellow Ribbon Campaign and thus, OJC.Respond to communications/requests from NetOps. Submit information; offer assistance as needed as regards internet functions pertaining to YRC support.
Site Fights
Promote exposure of OJC member sites by assisting members to join site competitions.Respond to communications/requests from NetOps. Submit information; offer assistance as needed.
Remembrance Award
1. Present awards to members who have met the requirements. These are: Maintaining a site which has one or more adopted POW/MIA's, member is an active member in the OJC ring, and has at least one letter/email to a government official posted on their site.2. Notify director(s) [netops@ojc.org] when recipients are presented the award. Include ring site ID# and 'Award' in subject line.
3. Notify Newsletter [NL@ojc.org] when recipients are presented the award so it can be posted in an upcoming newsletter.
