An all-volunteer, tax-exempt organization (#34-1408002) dedicated:
to obtain the release of all live prisoners,
the fullest possible accounting of the missing,
and the repatriation of remains of those who died serving our nation.


Our coursin, related to both of us, Air Force Maj. (later promoted to Colonel) Owen "Pete" Skinner became missing in Laos on 12-12-70. We both wear a POW bracelet bearing his name. Shocked that he was not among the returned POWs in 1973, we decided we had to do more than wear a POW bracelet. We started selling POW bracelets (VIVA) and then started handcrafting them when the supply was depleted. Lima Area MIA-POW is the result of our further committment to honor Pete and all those who are still unaccounted for in S.E. Asia.
