This is where we keep an eye on the politicians. We would love to do more with this but at the moment we just cannot find the time. We update this area more often than any other area of the PoW/MIA Forum. Of particular interest is the Waffle Iron Award ¯ and the Waffle Iron Award ¯ Hall of Shame.


Hot!Wartime Message Traffic and a Present Day Memorial to an American POW inside Vietnam today. In 1997. He claims to have been tortured viciously and yet within days of his shootdown he is giving interviews from a hospital bed, sipping coffee, smoking cigarettes and talking about not only his shootdown and present command, but his former command as well.


Secretary of Defense Bill Cohen made some remarks during the PoW/MIA Recognition Day 1977 Ceremonies that show the hypocracy of the Department of Defense, as well as some admissions.
