Blind Trust: Did we Leave Men Behind? Probably.

Blind Trust: There is no credible evidence that suggests that anyone is left alive today.

Those are his words.

We associate Blind Trust with God, with Family and Close Friends. We used to associate these words with Country as well until we grew up and learned that politicians do not always tell the truth. What do we need to know about this man?

  • After serving in the Navy in Vietnam, this man came home. Some of his friends and many of his comrades at arms were not so lucky. He came home to a country divided and, being ambitious and wanting to start his political career, he joined the Vietnam Veteran's Against the War and threw his medals onto the lawn of the house he has aspirations to one day live in. Blind Trust.

  • He was the Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on PoW/MIA Affairs (1991-1993) and was in a unique position to finish what he had started when he threw his medals onto the White House lawn----end the Vietnam War. He instead chose the avenue of appeasement. Instead of extending the term of the committee, just as they were getting solid intelligence on our missing and otherwise unaccounted for Americans, he chose to let the term expire. Blind Trust.

  • He allowed testimony that was known to be perjured to be changed in the final draft of the report without imposing any penalty whatsoever on the perjurer. Blind Trust.

  • Knowing that Vietnam held American's as Prisoners of War after the cessation of American involvement in that war, he pushed for the lifting of the US Trade Embargo imposed against Vietnam to be lifted and he subsequently pushed for the United States to re-establish diplomatic ties with the criminal regime whose Prime Minister was personally responsible for the execution of at least three American PoW's. Blind Trust.

  • His money is in a Blind Trust to have you believe that he wouldn't understand that normalizing with Vietnam is a potential windfall to him personally because of his families interest in Colliers International who is in a position to win a lucrative contract to help rebuild Vietnam. His money may be in a Blind Trust, but he reads the business section of the papers, doesn't he? Blind Trust.

  • One of his key players within the Senate Select Committee on PoW/MIA Affairs, Frances Zwenig is now a consultant for American Companies jockeying for position to do business in Vietnam; she helps pave the way and he does not see a problem with this. Blind Trust.

  • When coming out in support of the Vietnamese Commandos, he told the American public that the American Government had written these men off, had crossed their names off a list and declared them all dead in order to get around the fact that these commandos had been in the employ of the United States; something he stated the American Government would never do relative to our own PoW/MIAs. Blind Trust.

John Forbes Kerry (D-MA)

Is this the man you want to trust blindly?
