On May7, 1995, Governor Christine Todd Whitman dedicated the "New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial" in Holmdel, NJ. At that dedication, guest speaker, General Norman Schwarzkopf, Brother Vietnam Vet and New Jersey native drew cheers and ovations from the tens of thousands in attendance when he said "VIETNAM VETERANS HAVE NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF AND EVERY RIGHT TO BE PROUD OF THEIR SERVICE TO THEIR COUNTRY!"
New Jersey and her Vietnam Veterans also have every right to be proud of this beautiful memorial and of this organization dedicated to preserving its healing message.
