Wednesday - November 10th and
Thursday - Veterans Day November 11th
In Washington DC, across from the Lincoln Memorial on the right of the marble stairs going to the Reflecting Pool just past the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, there will be a bamboo cage set up to raise money for the FOIA Suit against the CIA.
This case seeks hidden and withheld POW/MIA documentation. Please volunteer a couple of hours of your time. Mike Benge former Vietnam War POW will be there and in the cage to raise funds for the costs and expenses of the case on November 11th. We need volunteers to help collect donations, this is important, many people walk by and don't donate because the few fundraisers are busy speaking with people who ask questions.
This case is still in process and we now have time to raise the funding in advance of upcoming legal expenses, it is better to be prepared and ready for what the government will throw at us instead of trying to raise enough money at the same time the case resumes on an emergency basis while we are fighting them.
Our past experience shows that people will give donations to an individual if they are available and walk by if no one is available. Only a few donate when they recognize what we are doing. There will be plenty of printed literature to hand out explaining the case. Please let me know if you can help for even a short time either November 10th or 11th, or stop by our area and help out if you have time.
