We are looking for veterans that have enrolled in the VA Medical Care System and refused to fill out the financial information and have since got treatment for a NSC condition and have received a bill. The VA are illegally requiring the information be provided and if you refuse to provide it, they will put you in the category 7 and will require a co-payment. This is regardless of the fact that you have a Service-Connected disability 10-40%. There are NO provision in the Public Law or in CFR 38 Section 17, that requires or authorizes this. VVA and PVA both are willing to get involved if we can provide additional evidence of such charges.
