Updates on Adopted POW's
CMSgt Thomas Moore

Teresa Rozich e-mailed to let us know that she had been contacted by her Adoptee's, CMSgt Thomas Moore, daughter, Diane.

"Thomas was my first adopted pow/mia," Teresa wrote. "I strived for a simplistic presentation of the facts, in hopes later of finding a photograph or other item to make his site more 'personal' later. Now, instead, I link to her beautiful tribute to her father, called 'Circle of Light.'

"Thomas, you would be proud, for your daughter has grown up, but still, inside, is that little girl who said goodbye, with dreams of an easter bunny bringing you home."

Colonel William 'Rich' Higgins

Ed Maloney writes about his adopted POW:

Colonel William 'Rich' Higgins (Louisville native) will be remembered on Memorial Day by the Kentucky Chapters of the Military Order of the World Wars as he is inducted as a Perpetual Companion of the Louisville Chapter.

"This will occur on the Belvedere overlooking the Ohio River during the chapter's Massing of the Colors. MG Carl Black USAF (Ret) is putting the ceremony together; the Commandant of the Marine Corps has promised to participate.

"As a perpetual member, Rich Higgins will always be 'on the rolls' and not forgotten."
