Military Mail / Friends of Our Troops
Sent in by Keith Boardman

As the continuation of VIETNAM Mail Call, which was founded in 1965, there have now been almost 35 years of service to and support of our soldiers (and sailors, airmen, marines, etc.).

Military Mail receives quantities of cards/letters from individuals, schools, colleges, churches, groups of all kinds, etc., from every part of the U.S., mixes it together, then sends it out to units, bases, hospitals, ships, etc. all across the U.S. and around the world. (The Christmas mailing goes to more than 1,000 places.)

The morale of many hundreds of thousands of our troops have been boosted through their efforts. Their Web site recognizes those who have done the most to make the morale-boosting mail available: ../leaders.htm, ../churches.htm, .../veterans.htm, ../youth.htm, and ./catholic.htm.

Also, their photo album (../album.htm, I think) contains links to photo pages relating to all the military services, each of which has at least one photo showing the mail being distributed to the troops.
