...for as long as it takes

Operation Just Cause is planning on producing a screen saver. The cost will be the same as everything else at OJC: Free! To participate in it's creation, we are asking members to submit graphics that will be used in the screen saver. There are a few guidelines:
1. The graphic must be made by the person submitting it to OJC.
2. The graphic must be comprised totally of your own art work/photography.
3. The only exception to 2 (above) will be graphics incorporated from those available at OJC AND you have gotten permission for such use.
4. The graphic should be submitted in Jpeg format (something.jpg) and should not exceed a file size of 25,000 bytes. If you need help with file type conversion or resizing, we can help. Just send the graphic to graphics@ojc.org.
5. Current active staff will select from the entries submitted. If we get a LOT of entries, we will open the selection process to members. Notices will be posted in the OJC Newsletter and in the OJC Listserver.
6. Any entry selected for use in this screen saver will only be used with a statement sent by the person submitting it stating we have permission to use it for the express purpose of inclusion in an OJC Screen Saver and that it is their work.
The purpose of the screen saver is two-fold.
First, we want our members to enjoy a POW/MIA related screen saver on their home and/or office computer. Second, we want people to see the screen saver and be able to contact OJC about getting involved. Each graphic submitted will have our URL posted at the bottom. We will add it to each entry selected for inclusion. The URL will not interfere with any graphic. The screen saver will use a black background, upon which the graphics will display. We will overlay your graphic onto a black field which will have
www.ojc.org in white along the bottom edge. Please to not attempt to do this yourself as we want a uniform font and size for our URL.The time frame is open. We will post the closing date in the newsletter once we feel we have received enough quality entries to make a screen saver with enough variety, while keeping the size reasonable.
Each entry must be emailed to: graphics@ojc.org
Include your name as you would like it to appear in the readme.txt file that will ship with the screen saver. If you have any questions, concerns, comments; they should be sent to the above email address.Once it is ready, it will be posted for download.
