Good News ! Update on Shelby Reynolds
Sent in by Richard Reynolds

One year ago last week my daughter was flown from Germany where I was stationed to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. due to severe Juvenille Rheumatoid Arthritis. I was in the field at the time and was not able to be there when my family was flown to the States.

I sent Gunny Fallon a message explaining her problem and asking for prayers. He sent out my message and it was also posted in the Moonduster Chronicles. The responses were truly overwhelming and gave us a lot of comfort in a truly rough time in our lives.

It is a year later and I am happy to say that Shelby is responding very well to her treatment. She has to take multiple medications every day to keep the disease in check but the progression of the disease has slowed and she can lead a somewhat normal life now. We now just take each day one at a time and hope to have more good ones that bad ones.

Thank you all for the support and prayers.
