From: Mark Olanoff Although the promise of healthcare has not been realized, there is
legislation that has been proposed by Rep. Emerson (R-MO) to provide a
refundable tax credit for military retirees who are currently paying
Part B of Medicare. The bill number is H.R. 121. Currently this bill
has 7 co-sponsors.
Although this bill will not restore our healthcare benefits, it will
provide real dollars to people who need it.
I urge all military retirees, family members, veterans and survivors of
military retirees to contact their U.S. House of Representative member
and ask to co-sponsor, H.R. 121 as a downpayment to our retirees who
were promised healthcare for a career of service.
