Homeward Bound
I debated hanging out at Weirs for the day and then heading home, but common sense told me to hit the road. I checked out of the Chase House, enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at the Inn and because I figured the trip would take 6 hours to get home, and I wanted to avoid the Friday rush hour Manhattan traffic, I hit the road at 11 AM. Well. . .
It took 5 hours and I got into Manhattan in the middle of rush hour. My luck! Once through Manhattan and into Brooklyn, I soared again!
