As the loved one of an unaccounted for MIA I watch yet another change of seasons with hope, with fear, with love, with pain... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

After nearly thirty years of one season rolling into another, I still feel a continued sense of loss... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

Another season is another reminder of the empty spaces in my life the void that Richard used to fill... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

The empty spaces in my soul will not fill, will not go away the memories have dimmed, but... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

I remember, and it hurts I remember a face that is forever young and in these memories, I too am young again, but... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

well meaning people say The time for grieving is over It's a time to dance... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.

I will continue to patrol the perimeters of my mind I will call up the memories of the past I will always grieve, but I will also dance... NOTHING IS DIFFERENT NOTHING IS THE SAME.
