I was introduced to Laura two years ago when I was looking for ideas regarding things my son's preschool class could do on Veterans Day. Chuck "Doc" Stewart suggested I visit Laura's website and email her explaining what I wanted to do. I did as Doc suggested, and was very glad I did. She eventually wound up sending me lessons and activities all about our country's veterans and the importance of remembering to be thankful for all that they did for us. Her website is loaded with remembrances and links to websites of interest that are, as Laura puts it,
"Teaching Children the Meaning of the Word Veteran."
