Not So Proud To Be a Canadian
Sent in by Lon Prete

I am a Canadian & not so proud if the Canadian Government had anything to do with the concealment of any information whatsoever, concerning American POWs/MIAs.

I just finished the book entitled " Kiss the Boys Goodbye"[How the American Government betrayed there own men in Vietnam]. I am appalled at even the thought of this, and how it could possibly happen. I have written a statement concerning my deepest feelings on this matter and wish to express them.

On Page 264 of the above mentioned book, there is reference to some knowledge. My top ten choices for people of the century without question would be the people who for so many years have pushed so hard for the release of those unaccounted for.

To all those who knowingly and willfully denied the speedily release and return of all POWs/MIAs, those valiant men and women, who left there families & loved ones, to give all they had for the freedom of their country, expecting that we would give all that we had for their safe return, may the entire wrath of God fall upon you. May you forever be cursed & burn in that unquenchable pit of fire, filth & stench. May you lose for very soul to the devil himself as you have become co-conspirators with him in perpetrating the worst of all evils. Abandoning your very own.

Generations of families have been lost forever, & for what? The national security & preservation of the government of the United States of America? A name which to me now is synonymous with Sodom and gomorrah. May you suffer the anguish of a million, who's families were wrenched, torn apart & destroyed by the hands of those they protected.

To those men and women who suffered intolerable & total human degradation & also loss of life at the hands of their degenerate captors, may your reward in heaven be great, as well as your loved ones, who suffered with you.

God bless you all..Lon Prete
