My ideal candidate would be someone, who above all, is honest with the American people. It doesn't matter what party they come from. It's like an onion, the outside layers give each one a unique appearance, but after you peel a few layers off, they all tend to look the same.

They would also have to support a strong military and take care of our veterans and active duty dependents. I don't believe we (U.S.) can exist in this world today without a well paid, well trained and well equipped military. There are just too many nuts with a lot of money and time on their hands and a hatred for the West for us to be weak.

It's just a fact of life and sooner or later, our leaders must face it. I also think he or she should support social programs, helpfare, NOT welfare.
