I would have to go with JFK. It is hard to get a decent understanding of presidents that served before my time. Ike was the first I really remember. He was pro-military for sure!

But no one ever grabbed my mind and heart like President Kennedy. He wasn't afraid to take a stand he believed in. And he was a war hero himself. I believe we wouldn't be fighting this battle had the war ended while he was commander-in-chief.
