On Sunday, April 1, 2001 POW/MIA Freedom Radio, 5:00 (eastern time) presents:
News and Views - Liam Atkins
1st Show - Steve Manchester, author. In his book, "The Unexpected Storm: The Gulf War Legacy", Steve writes of not only the soldiers who returned home visibly whole, but also of those who bear the problems caused by experimental vaccines, radioactive depleted uranium and the controversial issue of the Persian Gulf Syndrome. Steve was there and his perspective differs from the sanitized version CNN opted to show.
2nd Show - Charles "Chuck" Dragich, veteran, former POW. Chuck is one of the few survivors of the Bataan Death March and consequent incarceration in Japan as Prisoner of War. He tells of the hellish treatment and dangers faced during his capture. Contrast Chuck's story with the recent accidental sinking of a Japanese fishing boat by The USS Greenville and the efforts to apologize for any wrongdoing in each case. It is an honor to have Mr. Dragich as our guest and you will know why after you hear his story.
