A faded yellow ribbon in my heart
My name etched deep upon a wall of shame
Shame of Nation, leaders, lies from the start
We live in steamy jungles, with no name
A faded yellow ribbon, once a sign
Home, family, faith, last battle's end
Long years ago, it was another time
Our freedom bartered on a lying wind.
