I have a "brother" Danny
What color are his eyes?
Dan will soon be fifty-two
I know his mother cries
He dreams of home less often
now
"Will I ever see mom again?"
He gave his country twenty-
seven years
His dreams that might have been
I have a "brother" Danny
I pray for him each night
Oh God, please take the years
away
And make his shadows light
Create a storm of truth
somewhere
Before his years are gone
Let all our Dannys know we care
Please God, bring our POWS/
MIAS home?
